Hyperia City prereleases start on Friday 16 October, and to help you practise we built a sealed simulator. You open the 6 boosters of a kit, see the 72 cards you pulled and pick the 40 for your deck, just as you will at the store.
While you build, you only see the card count, the curve by cost and the tallies (characters, uninkables, removal, cards that draw). There are no tips and no score along the way: the idea is that you decide on your own first.
Once you have 40 cards, press "Rate my deck". The simulator tells you what percentage you reached of the best deck it found in your pool, what could be better, which cards that deck uses and you left out, and the swaps that would help most, one at a time.
The rating uses the grades we gave each card for sealed and the deckbuilding rules we follow: a curve with early plays, at most 6 uninkables, 22 to 30 characters, 6 or more removal cards and 3 or more that draw. It is a forecast made before the set has been played, so treat it as a help, not as the truth.
Boosters follow the Lorcana rules: 6 commons, one of each ink, 3 uncommons, 2 rares or better and 1 foil. Ravensburger does not publish the odds, so we used the community estimates for the previous set.
